I’m Jomel, and I’ve been in the business of writing for 30 years. A lot has changed in that time, but creating genuine, quality, well-researched content remains the best way to attract customers.

I know that because I’ve been writing content for various platforms and industries my entire career. From financial services to education to the food and beverage industry, I love learning about my clients and the passion they have for their business. A little bit about me personally: I’m from the Midwest, but love traveling the world, preferably on the road less traveled. That’s where you discover the interesting bits in life and come away with the best stories. Whether it’s a brief meeting on an airplane or a shared harrowing experience abroad, that’s where connections are made.

Writing gives me the flexibility to travel when and where I like, and after many years in the C-suite, it’s a welcome change of pace. It also gives me a better life balance with ample time for reading, cooking and gardening.

I live just outside Kansas City with my patient husband and two cats, Skittles and Poppy. You’ll usually find them (the felines, not my husband) sitting on my keyboard or batting my reading glasses off the table.
